It just needs tweaking. Maybe desaturate the photo and your artwork image so you're looking at it in black and white then you'll see where the values need to be darkened to make it pop more. The mouth could be stronger and less tight looking but it really is just small changes that are needed. Make them a little more bold than what you see. Like most men have a very strong jawline, so I would exagerate that, make it a little more square. Or exagerate his stubble, make it a little darker, mroe obvious. :) It looks great Kathryn, don't give up!Crystal Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06665844725894074136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1995448576763269183.post-76791152912098551462011-09-06T07:13:33.900-07:002011-09-06T07:13:33.900-07:00Everything is in place for a wonderful portrait Ka...Everything is in place for a wonderful portrait Kathryn. I'm not great at offering sound, helpful feedback but here goes. His skin tones appear warmer, the 5:00 o'clock shadow is heavier and the shadow side of the face is much darker, in the photo. You have good shadows on the neck. That will amplify his beard.Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08824473397605172813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1995448576763269183.post-87424489002267691042011-09-06T04:23:24.511-07:002011-09-06T04:23:24.511-07:00Kathryn, what he looks is too young. Darker shadows will make the rest pop, scary as it is, putting them in :) xxPathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01344072012837774958noreply@blogger.com
