I started with some feathering and shadows on the geese, using a mixture of quin. burnt orange, quin. violet and indanthrone. The feet I painted with quin. sienna. |
More work on the feathers, using a warmer version of the orange/violet/blue mix. |
Thoughts and tangential meanderings on horses, painting, and anything else that captures my interest

The Return of the Geese - and I am so glad. I just adore how you paint them - so full of themselves with their personalities displayed! I also loved seeing the paint on the paper mache boxes - they surprised me as I did not think you would be painting them realistically - I don't know why I thought that but I love what you have done so far!
ReplyDeleteThe geese are coming along beautifully ☺
ReplyDeleteLove ya lots♥

These are lovely...your colors that you use for the feathers mix so well to get the delightful shadows. Can't wait to see them finished. Hope you have a great day.
