Yes, I really do ride. Had a lesson today, and my trainer's friend was there, and kindly took a short video. I felt like a sack of potatoes in the sitting trot, but apparently we looked good. I felt Bruno was beautifully soft and relaxed, and using his hind end well, so he liked what I was doing in the saddle.
Thank you for dropping by!
Looked fine to me, but what I know? As I now live in a rural area (cows beyond the hedge) I'd better start thinking rural (which is a word I find impossible to pronounce properly)
ReplyDeleteDear Kathryn-I thought you looked good on Bruno. Of course I know nothing about form and such. So glad you shared. Give the big guy a hug for me.
ReplyDeleteI finally was able to view the video and I love, love it!!! How wonderful to see you riding this handsome boy! thank you for sharing! hugs to you and Bruno!!
ReplyDeleteI always found the sitting trot uncomfortable and much preferred the rising trot. Also I wasn't great at cantering but enjoyed a gallop, though once I got thrown in to the sea whilst galloping along the beach, when the horse did a 'hand-break turn' when he saw a piece of rope on the sand. I lost my guard! Still, as wet as I was, I got back on... I don't ride these days.
ReplyDeleteYou and Bruno look spectacular together!!
