After looking at all that snow, its wonderful seeing these flowers. It's awesome so far and I look forward to seeing these finished!! The hens and chicks are really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSend some snow over here please! Preferably enough to keep me at home until I have finished my reports and been sledging on Dartmoor.
ReplyDeleteI love watching your paintings evolve.
You should come visit us in Alabama 70 and sunny, well raining today but for the most part sunny:) These are going to be gorgeous and you may like the effects you get from not masking the entire thing. I get scared with masking fluid, had it tint my paper yellowish one time:(( So I use it very conservatively now.
ReplyDeleteComforting paintings of summer. They really look good...specially the Aeonium you can already tell is a winner. And outside it is looking so pittoresque, but I wish for you that the sun will come and take it all away :-)
ReplyDeleteThe flower and hens and chick- definately reminds me to warm summer time.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see it all done

I wish I could come down to see all that snow.. We dont get any snow in this part of India where I stay.. Anyway the initial wahes of both the paintings are looking neat. ALl the best with it..
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention in my last comment that I love that yellow flower.. What do you call it?? Hibiscus??
ReplyDeleteWe awoke to snow this morning and have about six inches on the ground. The Westies love the snow and romped around burying their faces in the snow. Happy puppies; happy mama because I'll get to paint today. Your starts are looking great. I finished a painting yesterday with a lot of yellow...I think I'm ready for spring. Looking forward to seeing your finished work, too.
ReplyDeleteAh, but what in nature is ever 'even'? I'll bet it was meant to be and it will be just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHaha! I see you have the same habit as me -- likes to have a few paintings going! The first few washes are looking great!
