This flower is so beautiful, Kathryn!! You're becoming such a "master" of watercolors... LOVE the dark background and the different shades of white.....excellent work, my friend!!! Your wonderful story reminds me of the time my Dad found a tiny little bird in his yard with no Mommy around...he hand fed this little thing which turned out to be a pigeon and he was family for a very long time ...greeting my Dad every time he came home from work.
