I do like the spatter effect. If I was finish this as a proper painting, I would do at least one more spatter with more concentrated color. And the shadow does nothing for the piece at all.
OK, that's two experiments finished. On to something else ...

Always good to experiment, and brave to show us! The two dogs are great, but the shadow of the tree is not quite right. I think the shadow of the thick foliage should be more solid, especially near the base of the tree.
ReplyDeleteThe walkway is just a tad too dark, not anything to fix Thr painting is lively. And the shadow of the tree does nice things for the composition. On to the next is right.
