I left the lad at this stage ... |
... this morning I was in an impatient mad rush to get a background , and THIS is what happened. |
I tried lifting in the lower right area, but it's leaving hard-edged lines. I may try to play with it some more, but I don't have much hope for this rendition of Voodoo. |
I don't think he is doomed, Kathryn... I have a feeling that you will be able to find a way. I wish I could offer a suggestion, but I am stumped...
ReplyDeleteOh I do hope you can achieve the effect you're seeking although I do love the dramatic look you've shown here.
ReplyDeleteI've just abandoned a drawing and hate having to re-do it .... but sometimes its the only way I guess. Look forward to seeing progress on Voodoo
I love it! Take your time and it will happen.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!

Félicitations, chère Kathryn,
ReplyDeleteLe cheval et le fond sont magnifiques tous les deux !
Bisous :)
We wish we could watch you play with the painting. We know you'll get it right☺
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you did that background, it is really beautiful.. but maybe not the right one for Voodoo. You'll find a solution, I am sure.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Judy...LOVE the background!!
ReplyDeleteI see the "mistake" in the third version but really liked the second version, which reminded me of the steam coming off the horse after a run :) I know you can do this again - take your time, no rush, and have fun - it's definitely worth trying again...
ReplyDeleteI am such a minimalist, I LOVE it left at this stage!
