This was the new class last Saturday - a very enthusiastic group! I asked if anyone minded if I took pictures for my blog. All said it was fine, with the stipulation that they could see the blog post. |

What a creative and different kind of painting :) I would like to teach too when I am retired from my work. I have some more years to learn first. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be able to hold a workshop one day - Trouble is, my style is so long winded!! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun everyone is having! We love when our waterfowl do their arabesques!
ReplyDeleteBuen ambiente en la clase, Kathryn. La creatividad siempre es una experiencia de lo más gratificante aunque el aprendizaje nos cueste algún que otro esfuerzo... Animo y saludos para todos los acuarelistas.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, and looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteDear Kathryn- looks like everyone is enjoying this class. I just may have to hop a plane and take a lesson or to with you. Your new painting is really coming along well. Like the pattern you used for the background. Hope Bruno and you are getting in a bit of riding between your job, art and teaching. 😊
ReplyDeleteIt would be great to teach like that. It must be so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed seeing everyone in the class-- thinking and pondering.
ReplyDeleteAnd we love to see the steps you take to make your paintings come alive!

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to teach but I would have loved to join in on your workshop Kathryn! It looks wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteLove the background pattern of the goose, a great idea! Looking at your class I wish I could find a group like this, they all look so happy!
ReplyDeleteI can't help but think what a great classroom experience you are providing for your students - and the space itself looks wonderful with all that room to work and the excellent lighting! And Arabesque is so charming! What a great piece it is going to be!
