A Goose of Distinction
Himself
I like him as high key painting. I think if I went darker with the goose and/or the background, it would look like something out a real "Grim" fairy tale!
Hi,Kath, It is said "find how/where to stop" is the success for watercolour painting. (*Please get surprise. My sociology tutor taught me!..and I became a watercolourist. Hahaha?!) Cheers,Sadami
I think I also like the high key one better. May be the tonal difference between background and fluffy went down. May be just may be at some parts near the neck and the body which is getting direct sunlight a slight darker background would help.. Just a thought..
I was a little far from the Blog, and now when I return I see these beautiful works. Congratulations Kathryn, his hands give life and energy to these animals. Big hug!!!
Kathryn, he looks so light and fluffy. Great job on those downy feathers.
