These are the chins, and they are "chinchillin'" |
OK, bad joke, but it's late, and I'm tired. |
That is Fat Bastard on the left, with Baby snuggled on the right. |
The geese of Chu Lin are waddling on ... |
And I am going for Buddy the VII. This was the one on which I was working, but somehow it was looking too smooth, too even, not "real". |
I decided a different format would bring more focus to his left eye. Also, more texture in the background was an improvement. |
So here I am, on B VII ... As ever and always, your comments are most welcome! |
Buddy the seventh? I can only admire your stickability, I'd be losing the will to live ! :) xx
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you are not satisfied with Buddy VI....! I don't know whether to admire or to scold you :-)) I would never post ANYTHING if I was going for perfection, but ok Kathryn you said that you are a perfectionist...so we will be patient and wait! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteWow, this Buddy painting will be gorgeous when finished. The eyes as so well done.
ReplyDeleteThe geese are beautiful!!! Your watercolor art is so magical!
ReplyDeleteMy moms love your backgrounds too!
Buddy looks perfect....

'Chinchillin' - I love that! They are cuties!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing a work in progress too. It's a great way of seeing how a painting pulls together from nothing. These are looking great! :0)
Kathryn your posts (and titles) always leave me with a smile! Or maybe it's just those so stinkin cute chinchillas!! Seriously though, I LOVED the painting of buddy as it was, I thought he looked very alive with such a sweet expression on his face. And the geese look great too. :D
ReplyDeleteNo more oozing of green slime okay? ;)))
Huzzah!
I love the chinchillas and really I think you are way too hard on yourself. Buddy looks good in both pictures. Leave him along and get back to work on the geese. I want to see how they turn out!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful chins (love how soft they are). The paintings look great. The Halloween bandana is really cool.
