I started off a small color and compositional study ... |
I also started a small [5 x 7 inch] goose. Not thrilled, but I'll see what I can do to improve it. |
I have started very w/w, with the board at quite an angle to encourage paint flow. I am also using a different palette. It looks more promising. |
Gosh so many on the go at once - they're all going to be wonderful, I love the way the goose is looking and looking forward to seeing the cows - you can tell I'm an animal fan can't you! So lovely of you to send the cow painting with the goose, I bet she was thrilled!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have your work cut out for you on these rainy days. I love what is happening in the sky in the first picture. It will make a great 14C painting.
ReplyDeleteWe think you are mighty amazing, and we just know that anyone who requests one of your paintings will just be thrilled.

I can see where you are going with the 'medieval' painting, the composition looks promising! I love the goose and I look forward to the cows and the beautiful girl!
ReplyDeleteOh you have been so busy...the goose really made me smile, love it ! And I am very much looking forward to seeing the portrait finished :-) xx
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have been busy... Congratulations on your sale:) I think the red haired friend will turn out just fine, I ask them to look away from me when I photograph people for my paintings- keeps the expression more natural!
ReplyDeleteThe small study is looking very good, too ..looking forward to see the completed works, so many of them lined up!

ReplyDeleteWhat variety of projects! you seem very enthusiastic and it is contagious.
ReplyDeleteDid you do tests for the color of the hair of the woman?
I like the position of the goose, very fun.

Please don't take me in the wrong way, but the goose reminds me of an ice skater..:) A unique pose, Kathryn!
