I had to go to the feed store to buy supplies for Bruno. This is one of the views on the route I take. |
... a closer shot - that's Mt. Baker looming in the distance. |
The lilies are putting out leaves in the ponds. |
A shot of our trail today. |
Maggie, in a blurry photo. She is always on the move. |
I was tempted to try to cross one of these logs over a gully. Thankfully, I thought better of it - I'll wait till it's drier, and the moss is not slippery. |
You live in a very beautiful area - inspiring and exhilarating to be surrounded by such beauty - for dogs, horses and humans!
ReplyDeleteThe scenes you show won't show up here till late April. How I envy you! There is only white and brown in the woods, but the buds on the trees are bigger, a small sign of things to come, but hardly noticeable, unless you're looking closely like I am with my nose pressed hard against the glass.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathryn
ReplyDeleteOh ! Start the Revolution without Me!!! Yes, that was a BIG belly laugh...
Goodness, your surroundings are so beautiful! So much to inspire you... Beautiful post!
fondly,
Penny
Thank you for sharing your world with us.. It is soo beautiful and looks peaceful. Mt Baker in the back ground is gorgeous,, it kind of looks like our Mt Hood. I love your hiking trails,, they are nice. Our are very wild... just rabbit trails and stuff,, so we always have to be looking where we go and get ready to hop.
ReplyDeleteWe love the pond! Thank you for sharing,, and we do hope you can get outside everyday,, to deep breathe,, and take in the beauty,, and hopefully your head ache will go away too
love

ReplyDeleteOMG you made me so jealous with the beautiful photo's. Did you try to cross the logs with Bruno??? I suppose (and hope for Bruno:) you didn't. Your students are very lucky with these exercises. They will become good painters, I'm sure. Have a nice weekend:) xxx
