I Sound Like a Cat Coughing Up Hair-balls, but STILL PAINTING

I have almost finished the background on this rose.

This is Round #3 on the barn swallow. The background still needs some work before removing the mask.

Well, the rain stopped. The water drained off a bit. And now it is all frozen. The temperature has stayed below freezing for the past few days, and the cold is supposed to last till the end of the week. I woke up coughing, and have been busy coughing all day. I thought I would just quickly post the latest WIP's before I take all my flu meds and hit the proverbial sack.

As always, your comments are so welcome!

  3. Oh dear - poor you!
I had a sore throat yesterday but luckily it doesn't seem to have amounted to anything.
I hope you feel better soon! It's snowing here - not enough to lay more than a dusting, but very cold.
Your WIP look fabulous already :0)

  5. These both look like good starts but maybe you'll just be dreaming about the finish as you take your meds and get plenty of rest and fluids. Hope you get over it soon!!

  6. The progression shots for the rose and swallow are looking good, Kathryn!
If a hair ball comes up, you should be fine...until then, however, keep taking your meds and get plenty of rest. :)

  7. Oh dear is right. Mucinex DM works on that cough. Though you might be the worse for wear, your paintings seem to be going strong.

  10. Thank your for showing the process, because not many chance to see. Normally people post when paintings are completed. I can learn from your works.

How about the rain? All has gone?
